Iran’s animated film ‘Dolphin Boy’ is competing at the CMS, International Children’s Film Festival (ICFF) in India.

Iran’s animated film ‘Dolphin Boy’ is competing at the CMS, International Children’s Film Festival (ICFF) in India.

‘Dolphin Boy’ by Mohammad Kheirandish is taking part in the Feature Animation competition of 12th edition of CMS, ICFF.

The film is about a boy who survived a plane crash and was raised by dolphins. When he becomes a teenager he embarks on a journey to find his mother.

Earlier reports said Iranian films ‘Sara Birds’, ‘Loupetoo’ and ‘Let’s Make Peace’ will also take part in the Indian event.

The ICFF aims to provide “a common platform for the producers of Children films to project their views for proper development of children’s potential through meaningful educative films, and also for promoting friendship and cooperation among people of the world”, an online submission platform reads.

The 12th edition of the festival kicked off on Monday and will run until April 18.
